AOD 9604 · TYR-HGH FRAGMENT 176-191 · 5 MG
AOP-9604™ is AOD 9604, the C-terminal lipolytic fragment of human growth hormone (residues 176–191) with an added N-terminal tyrosine. Supplied as lyophilised powder in vials of 5 mg, packed 3 vials per foil sachet for wholesale distribution.
RESEARCH KEYPOINT Research found the benefit of AOD 9604 in helping reduce body weight gain and increase fat oxidation in obese mice, without the effects on insulin sensitivity and IGF-1 seen with full-length growth hormone.
ABOUT AOP-9604
AOD 9604 is a modified fragment of human growth hormone corresponding to amino acids 176–191 of the hGH C-terminus, with a tyrosine residue added at the N-terminus. The 176–191 region was identified in the 1990s as the part of the hormone associated with fat metabolism, and AOD 9604 was developed at Monash University as a stabilised analogue of that domain.
Published work has examined the fragment in relation to lipolysis, fat oxidation and body weight in rodent models, and has reported that it does not reproduce the effects of full-length growth hormone on IGF-1 levels or insulin sensitivity. AOP-9604™ supplies AOD 9604 as a defined, batch-documented reference material with identity and purity verified on every lot.

RESEARCH BACKGROUND
A 2001 study in Endocrinology compared chronic treatment with human growth hormone and with its lipolytic fragment AOD9604 in obese mice and in β3-adrenergic receptor knock-out mice. Both reduced body weight gain and increased lipolytic activity in adipose tissue, and the fragment increased fat oxidation without the changes in insulin sensitivity or IGF-1 associated with the full-length hormone.
Earlier metabolic work on the synthetic lipolytic domain of hGH reported comparable effects on fat metabolism, and the β3-AR knock-out arm of the 2001 study indicates the response does not depend on that receptor alone. Findings to date are preclinical, in cell and animal models.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
OUR TECHNOLOGY
AOP-9604™ is lyophilised using CoreyPauling's proprietary Pressurized Dark-Room Fragmented Lyophilization process, which protects the peptide from light and oxidative stress during freeze-drying — critical for a growth hormone fragment whose value lies in its intact sequence. The result is stability that conventional lyophilisates cannot match.
90+ days
Near-stable at room temperature
The lyophilised powder remains almost fully stable for over 90 days at room temperature — forgiving of transit delays and customs holds without loss of integrity.
3 years
Stable in cold storage
Stored cold at 2–8°C, AOP-9604™ retains full stability for the shelf life stated on every label, from the date of manufacture.
QUALITY & MANUFACTURING
International standards
Manufactured under internationally recognised quality standards with controlled environments and validated processes at every production step.
Analytical verification
Identity, purity and content are verified by HPLC and complementary analytical methods before any batch is released.
Full traceability
Lot, manufacturing and expiry data are printed on every sachet and vial, tied to batch records and the Certificate of Analysis.
STORAGE & HANDLING
Store cold at 2–8°C
Keep refrigerated for full shelf life. Do not freeze. Protect vials from light and keep them in the original sachet until use; brief room-temperature excursions are tolerated thanks to our lyophilization process.
Insulated export shipping
Wholesale consignments ship in insulated packaging with cooling elements and temperature indicators, with export documentation prepared per destination.
